QUALITY CONTROL ASSURANCE FOR RADIOPHARMACEUTICALS ON THE PHARMACEUTICAL MARKET OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article substantiates the proposal to optimize the quality control of radiopharmaceuticals using a domestic radionuclide calibrator for nuclear medicine, with the help of which it is possible to determine the radionuclide purity and measure the total radioactivity produced by a series of radiopharmaceuticals.

The purpose of the work is to optimize the process of quality control of FDG, taking into account the half-life of 109 minutes, which in turn reduces the time of quality control and reduces the cost of the dose of FDH.

The subject of the study, Ftorodezoxiglucose 18F, a solution for injection, which is most often, about 90% compared with other radiopharmaceuticals, is used in nuclear medicine for PET research on cancer.

Conclusions. Using the radionuclide calibrator for nuclear medicine, the results of FDH quality control were obtained: the gamma radiation spectrum corresponds to 511 keV energy of all studied series. The total radioactivity of the sample series: 20181228/184 was 106 MBq, the sample series: 20181228/185 was 135 MBq and the sample series: 20181229/186 was 190 MBq.
