Organizational, clinical and pharmacoeconomic aspects of medical provision among servicemen with chronic gastritis
Abstract
Introduction. The problem of treatment of chronic gastritis in servicemen, as one of the most common diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, is especially relevant in the light of evidence on the determining role of H. pylori infection in disease progression and its complications and due to lack of pharmacoeconomically justified drug regimens. H. pylori-associated gastritis is now defined as an infectious disease regardless of the presence of symptoms and complications and is considered to be curable by antihelicobacter therapy.
The porpose. Evaluation of clinical and pharmacoeconomic efficacy of sequential and triple AHBT in HP-associated chronic gastritis and potential economic benefits for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with using drugs of domestic manufacturers.
Materials and methods. The materials of the study were medical records of servicemen with chronic gastritis. Research methods: bibliographic, clinical, mathematical and statistical, method "cost-effectiveness", descriptive modeling, structural and logical.
Results. The authors analyzed the incidence of chronic gastritis among servicemen over a 10-year statistical series. The results of our own research on the clinical efficacy and pharmacoeconomic feasibility of medical supply of servicemen in H. pylori - associated chronic gastritis with drugs for triple and sequential antihelicobacter therapy by using drugs of domestic manufacturers were analyzed. An algorithm for the organization of medical suplly in HP-associated chronic gastritis is proposed, based on pharmacoeconomic analysis.
