PECULIARITIES OF THE TECHNIQUE OF FILLING OF THE DISTAL AND MESIAL-DISTAL CARIES OF MOLARS AND PREMOLARS OF NANOGYBRIDES COMPOSITES
The article describes the sequence of phased filling of the mesial- distal and distal carious
cavities of premolars and molars in accordance with the technology of open and closed sandwiches,
taking into account the physicochemical characteristics of nanohybrid composites. Accordingly to
the topographic classification of carious cavities, the corresponding Black classification, which
reflects their localization relative to different groups of teeth, is most widely used and
recognized. The classification that depends on the depth of damage to hard tissues of the teeth
(initial, superficial, middle and deep caries) is separately determined.
The second class (Black topographic classification) includes distally and mesially located carious
cavities of premolars and molars. The above-mentioned group of teeth is significantly affected by
the forces of compression, tension, shear and bending. Cavities on the contact (approximate)
surfaces of molars and premolars can be located on the front (mesial) or (distal) contact surfaces.
It is also possible the simultaneous defeat of the carious process of all contact surfaces of the
tooth. The preparation of the above cavities is carried out through the chewing or occlusal
surfaces. That is why carious cavities of class II are further subdivided into mesial-occlusal,
distal-occlusal and mesial-occlu- sal-distal. Of importance for the correct restoration of the ana-
tomical structure of this group of teeth, and, accordingly, their func- tional use, is the
consistent formation of the cavity, the correct vibration of the staged filling technique, and the
optimal use of the filling material.
