The system of territorial defense Forces medical support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Abstract

The purpose of the work: increasing the efficiency of providing medical assistance to servicemen of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was carried out through the decomposition of the medical support system of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the analysis of its functional and organizational elements, followed by the justification and synthesis of a multi-level functional and organizational model integrated into a single medical space, which can function effectively both in peacetime and in wartime.

Materials and methods.  Research materials: the legislative base of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, materials of own research on the state of medical support of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and scientific publications on the specifics of the development and implementation of the territorial system of medical support of the troops. Research methods: system analysis, system-functional and logical modeling.

 Results. The article analyzes the principles of forming the medical support system of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, formulates the definition of the "medical support system of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine", defines the methodological foundations of the organization of medical support of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the main functional connections with other systems of comprehensive provision of troops and civil health protection of the state.

Conclusions. The conducted research made it possible to: formulate the definition of the "medical support system of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" - as a multifunctional three-level medical support system with a hierarchical management organization, aimed at providing high-quality medical care to servicemen of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and integrated into the unified medical space of the state, which can function effectively both in peacetime and in wartime. Determine the requirements for the medical support system of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, its functions, levels and main structural elements. To substantiate the foundations for the development of a fundamentally new model of the system of medical support of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, integrated into the unified medical space of the state, which can function effectively both in peacetime and in wartime. Determine the main directions of integration and interaction of military medicine with the medical service of other ministries and departments of the state in peacetime and wartime.
