A total of 79 healthy men were examined who, during the course of 2019, turned to the Center for Health and Longevity Technologies (Kiev) in order to assess their health status and further recommendations for correction in relation to the revealed deviations and the obviousness of the changed indicators. The average age of men was (37.2 ± 0.9) years. At the first stage, the parameters of the anthropometric profile were determined for everyone examined, and at the second, blood biochemical parameters. The non-invasive methods were used in the study complex - determination of anthropometric indicators: height, body weight, waist circumference, abdominal circumference, index of the ratio of the waist circumference to the hips, body mass index, body shape index. A blood biochemical analysis included determination of total protein, total bilirubin, aspartate aminotransferase activity, alanine aminotransferase, gamaglutamyl transpeptidase. To evaluate the blood lipid spectrum, the total cholesterol, triglycerides, high and low density lipoprotein cholesterol, and atherogenicity coefficient were determined. Among those examined with signs of anthropometric profile, 10
men with overweight (obesity) (50.0%), obesity grade I — 4 patients (20.0%), and grade II — 4 patients (20.0%) were identified whose average age was 35.3 years. The components of the metabolic syndrome were observed in 4 men (20%) (increased body mass index, high blood pressure, increased triglycerides,
low cholesterol high density lipoproteins). Biochemical indicators of protein and carbohydrate metabolism did not reveal deviations from the values of the indicators of the reference boundaries of the norm. The highest deviations of the indicators of the functional state of the endocrine system occurred in the direction of an increase in the level of cortisol in men with obesity of the first degree - up to (387.6 ± 12.2) nmol / l, slightly less in patients with overweight - up to (310.2 ± 13 , 4) nmol / L, its lowest nmol / L. The content of C-reactive protein showed signs of chronic mild inflammation - enhanced liver synthesis: its content in the blood serum of patients with overweight and grade I and II obesity in 16 cases was found to be elevated from 5.46 to 17.3 mg / L
content was found in men with II degree obesity - (166.5 ± 8.7)</p>}, number={4}, journal={Ukrainian Journal of Military Medicine}, author={Poberezhna, N.M. and Pavlovskyi, S.A. and Kozak, N.D.}, year={2019}, month={Dec.}, pages={87-93} }
